Silent Whisper

​

In this Tai Kwun Artists’ Studios Programme. Man imagines the spread of whispers in a room during the pandemic and records shifts in bodily gestures, sounds, language, and emotions in the city, prior to and subsequent to the “stream of consciousness”. She also seeks to quietly inquire into the abnormal changes in the city as a way to deal with intense pressures and to reorganise a field with the same space but of a different era.

靜默絮語

​

在本次駐場計劃中，文美桃以「靜默絮語」為題，想像在瘟疫之時，房間中的絮語蔓延之際，如何記錄城市中那些「意識流動前與後」的肢體動作、聲音、語言和情感的轉變。她也想在靜默勞動中探討香港這座城市的異常變化，以作為在高壓情緒中自處的方法，並重整那片位於同一空間卻已處於不同時代的場域。
