每個人生命中或多或少都有些缺失,有些人會努力修補,有些人決定埋藏心底。油街實現的XCHANGE系列,以創造力為生活的種種問題提供解決渠道,今次以「修繕」為主題,期望可以幫助參與者將缺失放下。「修繕」包含修補、整理的意思。透過不同的身心協作成為自己的修繕師,修補生活上的缺失,並將之轉化為生活的一種經驗。

 

We all have regrets in our lives. Some of us may work hard to overcome them while others may decide to bury their feelings. The “XCHANGE” series of Oi! believes that we can solve daily life problems with our creativity. Under the series this time we launch “Make Over Make Good”, in which participants will learn how to restore, renovate and rebuild the relationship between humans and nature. We encourage everyone to embrace themselves and be their own healer to turn regrets into life experience.

「修繕」夥拍不同藝術家及團體推出多個單元,第一個單元為「還原頁」,旨在以食物鼓勵大眾還原生活基本步,猶如揭開書本首頁,以檢視自身,藉著料理技巧學習尊重食物、敬畏自然,從而重新築起彼此間的關係。

「料理」一詞除了是菜餚,也代表著烹調、處理和照顧的意思。由九月起我們將於油街實現提供一個生活修練場所,讓公眾藉著食物尋回生活的原點,透過學習烹飪及各式生活技巧在忙碌生活中照顧自己,料理他人。

廚房日常 The Everyday Kitchen
星期三至日Wed to Sun | 1100-1900

誠邀公眾於開放時間內到訪油街實現,進行「修繕練習」以交換我們準備的特色小食或飲品。

一系列「修繕練習」包括:
植物繪畫:觀察並繪畫場內的植物
煮食供給:協助完成特色小食或飲品
澆水聊天:為園圃澆水並與植物聊天
剩食收集:分享家中剩食或到社區回收剩食

小食或飲品數量有限,換完即止。

Collaborating with various artists and art groups, “XCHANGE: Make Over Make Good” has several modules, the first of which is titled “A Page, A Wish”. It aims to encourage the public to get back to basics and review their true self like re-reading the first page of a book in the process of cooking.

The word “Cuisine” , “料理” in term of Chinese means dishes, it also refers to cooking, treatment and caring. We will provide a space at Oi! for practice and cultivation starting from September. The public is encouraged to trace back to the origin of life by food and take better care of themselves and each other through cooking and practical skill learning.

We are delighted to invite the public to visit Oi! during opening hours. Take the opportunity to participate in “Everyday Exercise” in exchange for a special snack or drink.

The series of “Everyday Exercise” includes:
Plant Drawing: To observe and to draw the plants in the surrounding. The separate pieces of drawings will gradually be combined into a big collage.
Cooking and Giving: To help with making snacks to share with others.
Watering and Communicating: To irrigate the crops in the garden. Try talking to the plants.


Food Waste Collection: To share your home leftovers with us or collect food waste within the community. Try to get to know the source of food waste and find ways to make a change.

A limited quantity of snacks and drinks for exchange, available while stocks last.

還原頁 - 食具工作坊  |  A Page A Wish – Utensil Workshop

還原頁旨在以食物鼓勵大眾還原生活基本步,除了日常以修繕練習交換小食外,亦會推出一連串的工具坊和活動與公眾分享各種生活技巧。還原頁的頭炮活動為食具工作坊,邀請木藝及陶瓷藝術家帶領參加者製作各式的食具及器皿。導師將遊走香港不同地方,收集本地物料並在油街實現製作特色食具。此舉期望可以把香港不同地方的文化及社區經驗帶到油街實現,使這裡成為公眾交換平台。

參加者將親身以雙手把原材料逐步變成食用器具,藉著感受及認識材料的原貌與本質,從中思考人與食物的關係。

“A Page, A Wish” aims to encourage the public to get back to the basics of life. In addition to participating in “Everyday Exercise” in exchange for a snack, there are series of workshops and activities to equip the public with wide range of practical life skills, the first of which will be “Wood and Ceramic Utensil Making Workshop”. Artists will gather natural materials from different spots in Hong Kong, and use them for tableware making at Oi!. It is hoped that a public exchange platform can be developed at Oi! by introducing the unique cultural and community experiences from different parts of Hong Kong.

 

Participants will be encouraged to think about the relationship between humans and food during the process of turning raw materials into utensils with their hands. All the utensils will be used and displayed in “The Everyday Kitchen”.

還原頁邀請了八位藝術家到訪修繕廚房,與設計師潘保傑一起學習精進料理的技巧。一連兩節的藝術家進修班歡迎公眾到訪油街實現,從旁觀摩藝術家學習料理的過程。

“A Page, A Wish” invites 8 artists to learn how to cook Shojin Ryori (Japanese refined cuisine) from designer Poon Po Kit. Two sessions of Well Done Artist Cooking Class will be held in the afternoon of 27 September and 5 October 2019. Everyone is welcome to visit Oil Street Art Space to observe the learning process of artists.

Well Done Artist Cooking Class – Cooking and Sharing

 

「還原頁」邀請了八位藝術家及文化人駐場學習精進料理,以他們獨有視角探討生活中人與食物的種種關係。他們將各自發揮創意烹調菜式,分享所學的料理「本事」。一連八節的聚餐體驗,誠邀公眾在餐桌上一同尋找生活的原點。

 

A Page A Wish invites 8 artists and cultural workers to attend cooking classes to sharpen their culinary skills. Through cooking and sharing they are going to look into the connection between food and day-to-day life from their unique perspectives. They will turn their creativity into one-of-a-kind cuisines, and share with us the skills they have mastered. The public is welcome to attend a total of 8 sessions of meal sharing prepared by the artists and cultural workers and find the basics of living with them together.

#3.1 藝術家料理本事—精進料理學習分享 - 馬琼珠

視覺藝術家馬琼珠的聚餐主題為「黑白分明」,將以食物重塑「黑白電影」來呈現專注與靜態的美感。誠邀與藝術家同為天蠍座的朋友在沒有言語交流下吃一頓飯,探索言語外的溝通方式。

Visual artist Ivy Ma’s meal sharing is entitled “Black & White”, which reconfigures “B&W films” with food to present the aesthetic of devotion and serenity. Interested parties with the same zodiac sign as the artist, Scorpio, are welcome to join and have a silent meal, with a view to exploring communication beyond words.

 

 

#3.2 藝術家料理本事—精進料理學習分享 - 張薇

文字工作者張薇從家庭主婦的角度出發,思考如何在每日照顧家庭的恆常煮食責任當中,把個體的關懷從家庭向社區延伸。誠邀家長帶同一位8至15歲的小朋友參與。

Writer Cheung Mei will, from the point of view of a housewife who has to take constant care of cooking in the family, extend individual care from household to community. Parents with a kid aged from 8 to 15 are welcome to participate.

With plentiful restaurant cooking experience, artist Wong Chun Hoi is passionate about pungent but bland quick meals. People who are tight for time and wish to cook speedy suppers are welcome to join and share their fast food ideas.

從事聲音創作的藝術家李穎姍,從五味中的「辣」出發,研究辣的源頭及身體對於不同程度的辣的細微反應。誠邀對辣味有試驗精神的公眾朋友參與相互交流。

Sound artist Fiona Lee, uses “Spicy Hot” of the five flavors of life to investigate the sources of spiciness and the nuance of body reactions to different degrees of it. Interested parties who have experimental spirit towards spiciness are welcome to join and exchange ideas.

Photographer Tse Pak Chai has been documenting different social issues through photography and is inviting teenagers to have a delightful meal sharing. Secondary school students are welcome to join the meal, help with preparation work and share their ideas with each other.

Art critic Evelyn Char employs instinct in critical thinking to reflect on the daily behavior of urbanites, and then design dishes that are refreshing and digestible with simple recipes. Interested parties who feel tired all the time are welcome to join and bounce ideas off each other.

「還原頁」小型誌編輯及製作工作坊

A Page A Wish: Zine Editing & Making Workshop

 

「還原頁」誠邀大家在2019年的最後一個月學習編輯及製作小型誌 ( zine ),回顧過去數月在修繕廚房的種種經驗。我們將會共同編製一本「料理手帳」,收集大家生命中最深刻的味道,反思過去一年每日的飲食習慣,以及回憶曾在廚房萌生過的各式想法。參加者請預先準備呼應主題,以及對未來想像的圖畫、照片及文字用作編輯「料理手帳」之用。工作坊將以粵語進行。

 

We are going to share with public the editorial and zine-making skills in the last month of 2019 so as to review our past experience at XCHANGE. We will edit and create a Cooking Zine together to reminisce about the most memorable dishes, daily eating patterns or even the ideas we once had in kitchens. To participate, please prepare images, photos and texts that related to our theme. Workshop will be conducted in Cantonese.
